Mindy Lichtman of the host St Boniface Golf Club captured her first Provincial Women’s Amateur Championship July 3^rd to 5^th by one shot over Elmhurst’s Angela Martens.  Lichtman had a three day total of 232 (74, 78, 80) which held off a charging Martens who fired the low round of the day (76) in the final round.

Lichtman and Martens will be joined by Bri-Ann Tokariwski (Elmhurst) and Sarah Stebeleski (Golf Manitoba Public Player Club) as Team Manitoba who will compete at the National Women’s Amateur Championship July 26^th to 30^th at the Kingsville Golf & Country Club in Kingsville, ON.
